Paalam: John Emil "Lime" Ilagan ( June 7, 1986 - Nov.14, 2010 )

This thread is to remember John Emil Ilagan also known as "LIME", he was with us back in our tambay nights in Pavillion Mall, he's the one who rides a black Honda Wave100, that is the bike that he used when he joined his first quickie ride with LMC in Caliraya, Laguna in August 2008 and it is actually driven by Ryudo(+) during that ride, few months later in February of 2009 our fellow dear member Ryudo passed away that leads me and Lime(+) not to be active with the club anymore, then after a long time of not being active, Lime sold his black Wave and bought a rust colored Honda Wave Alpha that he used for quite a long time. Just this November of 2010, he decided to sold his Alpha and buy his dream bike, a Yamaha Mio Amore. I can still remember him telling be that once he has this dream bike that he will be alright and be contented with it to be his last bike. Yes, it is his last bike.

November 16, 2010, a week after he made his last tambay with LMC and a day after his 2nd anniversary with his girlfriend, he passed away. On his way home to Binan from his work in Jollibee (Balibago), he is with his cousin "Topet" whom he lend his helmet when they where hit by a raging Mitsubishi Lancer (Hotdogtype, driven by Jasper Kei Eusebio) coming from north who counter-flows, they where dragged for quite some meters long before they reached a Meralco post near a Yamaha3S store in the area. Emil died on the spot while his cousin was rushed at the hospital. That place where he died is an accident prone area, it is also the place where his brother-in-law in cousin died on a Suzuki Raider150. I always remember Lime keeps on telling us to blow our horn whenever we are going to pass that area without me thinking that he is going to be the next victim.

Emil is a brother to me, we're classmates since high school and we are always together with tambays and gala. as i knew him, he is a very friendly person, as an evidence to it, a lot of people came at his wake and even more on his burial, there was a huge number of riders from different places, clubs and bike shops who escorted him to church to Eternal Garden.

I'm sorry if i was not able to let you guys know about what happened to Emil, its just that I'm quite busy that time and that I'm in Manila.

May I ask everyone to please continue praying to our Dear Lord that Emil will rest in his peace. May perpetual light shine upon him.

The said lancer is still in custody of Sta.Rosa city police. Tingnan niyo nalang po sa tapat ng police station sa bayan sa tabi ng NBI, kulay bronze. kung anong grabe ang tama ng kotsse eh higit syempre kay emil at sa motor niya.
